Artichoke Leaf Tincture

Our organically grown Artichoke Leaf Tincture can help reduce total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol (often called “bad” cholesterol), while supporting healthy levels of HDL cholesterol (the “good” cholesterol).  The artichoke is one of the world’s oldest vegetables, dating back to ancient Greece.  Artichoke hearts contain edible receptacles; however, this prickly plant holds many health benefits beyond its culinary uses.  Our Artichoke Leaf tincture can help promote fat digestion and metabolism, support liver and gallbladder function, and relieve occasional indigestion.  Our organically grown artichoke leaves are carefully harvested from our gardens, as they have much higher concentration beneficial compounds, than the edible flower buds (artichoke hearts).  Then we process them to retrieve both the alcohol properties and water-soluble properties.  Our Artichoke Leaf tincture can help stimulate bile production, by increasing bile flow to process and eliminate cholesterol efficiently.  It can help provide antioxidants, by protecting liver cells from oxidative damage and inflammation.  It can also support metabolism, by inhibiting cholesterol synthesis in the liver.  Our Artichoke Leaf tincture can help promote healthy liver enzymes & support normal ALT & AST levels.

Suggested Use: As an herbal supplement, taken orally with water 1-5 drops 1-3 times a day (working up to one dropper full) or as directed by your health care professional.
